Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your multifaceted leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.
You'll lead your team in rolling stock/infrastructure maintenance, servicing, and modernisation activities to meet our service demands. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Production Managers, Industrial Teams), coordinate tasks, and ensure safety and efficiency in all operations.
You’ll specifically take care of delivering start/end of shift briefings, deploying team members, and upholding site safety, but also deputising for the Production Manager when needed.
We’ll look to you for:
Leading all aspects of team management in maintenance and servicing
Ensuring adherence to safety standards and reporting deviations
Providing real-time work progress updates and managing performance
Completing necessary shift paperwork and maintaining documentation standards
Promoting continuous improvement and team development
Identifying training needs and skill gaps within the team

Technical qualifications such as HNC, ONC, City & Guilds, or equivalent
Experience or understanding of rail depot operations and rail industry standards
Knowledge of Network Rail Rules and Regulations, H&SAWA, COSHH
Familiarity with team leadership and operations management
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently under tight timelines
IT literacy and proficiency in the local language
