To set the risk appetite setting for the Trading portfolio and active calibration & monitoring of limits
Accountabilities
- Collection and analysis of market data from various sources and ensuring risk is correctly captured, modelled and capitalised.
- Escalation of critical risk issues or breaches to Traders and senior Risk Management Leadership teams for timely action, as may be required.
- Review and provision of feedback on market risk models including change governance.
- Internal, Regulatory and Scenario stress testing for the Trading portfolio, as required.
- Steer and execution projects of market risk wide-significance e.g. FRTB, One Risk, as required.

As a part of the Service Operations team, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions. You'll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.
To be successful as a Tax Technology Developer you should have experience with:
- Expertise in C#.NET, .NET Core, .NET 6, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, HTML5, JavaScript, Angular 2+, SQL Server, SSIS and Entity Framework.
- Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and hands on SQL Server database
- Good understanding of how Dev Ops / CI / CD principles and practices can be used to ever increase speed to market and quality
- Unit Testing (NUnit / MSTest / MOQ)
Some other highly valued skills include:
- Good understanding of Microservices Architecture, PaaS and / or Cloud hosting and deployment options
- Deep understanding and application of good software design principles and patterns
