Education: Chartered Accountant.

Job Description






























Mission: Collaborate and provide support on projects carried out by his/her business unit/department, in keeping with the guidelines given by his/her supervisor, so that his/her work will enhance decision-making processes and processes involving the project’s execution and provide the internal client with added value through his/her professional performance. Sub-function responsible for the organisation’s tax matters and optimising the organisation's tax situation. Its main duties include: the calculation of tax obligations, drawing up of tax statements and the submission of these, investigation, analysis and interpretation for purposes of compliance, planning and tax optimisation.

Required Skills and Competencies






























  • Direct Tax and Indirect Tax (including Customs, SVB, GST) fillings and returns as per the various Act.
  • Handling Indirect and Direct Tax Assessments.
  • Implementing Tax compliance procedures at Head Office and Project Sites.
  • Tax set offs and optimization plan.
  • Domestic and International Transfer pricing knowledge with documentation experience.
  • Review of ICDS (Income Computation and Disclosure Standard) and Impact on Tax.
  • Knowledge of FEMA, ECB and other laws impacting financing and profit distribution
  • Structuring project contracts and land aggregation contracting.
  • Monitoring the changing Tax situation and creating awareness with the local and international tax teams.
  • MAT and WHT compliances.
  • awareness of the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA) and impacts.
  • Coordination with tax consultants where necessary.
  • Ensure Compliance of applicable companies Act provisions in coordination with consultant.
  • Ensure Banking compliance as per the agreed terms in various facility agreements.
  • Preparation of Annual Budget, Business Plan, Forecasting and Deviation analysis and ensure meeting the Group deadline for the same.
  • Addressing Group’s (Corporate) requirements from time to time.
  • Finalization of accounts
  • Liaising with auditors
