Based in Bangalore - Reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition, Work Dynamics, we are currently seeking to hire a Talent Acquisition Leader for Project & Development Services - India. Project & Development services is a specialty group that manages design and construction, as well as improvements to our clients’ workspace. The successful applicant will lead and manage this specialized hiring for business across India working closely with senior business stakeholders, HR Business Partners, and the India Talent Acquisition team. Playing an important part of Talent Acquisition team, you will build and shape the TA function for Project & Development Services in India, embedding consistent processes and practices whilst ensuring continued success against key performance indicators and delivery against challenging growth targets.

A passion for identifying and developing top talent


You have a proven ability to spot and grow top talent, both for succession but also for other roles in our organization.  You will help maximize the performance of the leader and that of your team.  You will regularly liaise with business members to ensure that our partnership is meeting their demands, and you will help our talent grow and prepare for their next role at JLL.


Do you have a passion for talent? This role is critical to the success of our India businesses, and we need someone who has real passion for identifying the best talent for various roles.  You’ll know how employ traditional and creative innovative direct sourcing strategies to enhance our recruiting efforts and processes.


Leading from the front


This is a very diverse yet hands on role that comes with great responsibility.  You’ll support the recruitment and development of a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists acting as a role model, inspiration, coach giving constructive feedback on a formal and informal basis.  


Collaboration


You’ll work closely with the wider Talent Acquisition community to ensure successful delivery of talent through multi-channel sourcing models. In addition, you will communicate regularly with business line leaders to clearly understand requirements and expectations of the diverse positions.  As an important member of the TA Leadership Team, you’ll play an active role in shaping the future of the Talent Acquisition team in India.

Experience


This role requires a professional who is accustomed to depth in leading a recruiting function.  Preferably, you will need at least 15+ years’ experience within talent supply chain, recruitment or executive search in Real Estate development/ Construction industry.  You understand the different stages of the Talent Acquisition process and be comfortable working on mandates across all levels. Team leadership is second nature and ideally you will be familiar in managing teams across multiple locations. Prior experience of the Real Estate industry, Construction or Engineering is a must.

Are you adept at navigating across large, complex organizations? Have you led transformational initiatives overcoming resistance to change to successfully execute strategy?  This job is as much about being part of strategic activities and their deployment as it is about managing the talent acquisition needs of our very ever growing India Project & Development Service Business. You should naturally embrace the challenge of operating in an environment of unprecedented, rapid change where innovation and quick responses yield success.


Proactive


Do you operate with a sense of urgency?  You’ll need a high EQ, be highly responsive and have a solution orientated mind-set. You should be able to effectively juggle priorities to meet timeframes and deadlines set by the business. In this role we want someone who is naturally decisive and prepared to take risks
