ROLE OBJECTIVE


Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) is seeking a TA Lead for DD&T to join our organization. GTA is a newly formed function within Takeda Human Resources brought together to position Takeda’s future success by strengthening our Talent attraction and retention engine, while adopting best-in-class hiring practices. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to our key stakeholders and have deep understanding of talent market, talent acquisition practices, and tools to ensure full visibility to external trends.


The TA Lead will report into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition for Core Functions & DD&T and will lead the hiring for India ICC. The TA Lead for ICC will deliver specialized Talent Acquisition support in India to Data Digital & Technology (DD&T) leaders by ensuring the recruiting strategy and resources are set for success in the local market. The role will represent TA for Innovation Capability Center project and build trust and confidence with DD&T stakeholders. This individual will drive the full talent acquisition life cycle within these organizations to attract and hire the best people, while working in partnership with HR Leaders and Business leaders to deploy the talent acquisition strategy.


ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to build a top-tier, qualified workforce, and a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Manage team of RPO resources. Create and environment which inspires people to do their best and is aligned to the company’s values. Build relationships with and manage the performance of all external partners and RPOs (recruitment process outsourcing).
  • Establish partnerships with Talent Acquisition (TA) Head, HR Leadership, and key business leaders to ensure current and future strategic TA needs are achieved.  
  • Manage team of RPO resources. Create and environment which inspires people to do their best and is aligned to the company’s values. Build relationships with and manage the performance of all external partners and RPOs (recruitment process outsourcing).
  • Manage the full Talent Acquisition life cycle to include sourcing, talent mapping, interview feedback/consultation, pre-offer, through to offer negotiation. Manage process feedback loops and provide continuous improvements.
  • Lead and/or support projects as part of the long-term strategy of building a best-in-class Talent Acquisition organization. Participate in Global TA/HR projects and Communities of Practice as required. Align with cross-functional TA colleagues to deploy talent acquisition programs regionally.
  • Create diverse talent pools for business-critical roles, proactively, applying talent sourcing and candidate management tools (HiredScore, Avature)
  • Deliver talent insights to DD&T Leaders, HRBLs and HR Partners such as performance metrics, vendor SLAs and/or

             external talent maps.


  • Achieve an exceptional candidate experience which results in a distinctive competitive advantage for Takeda.
  • Ensure compliance with all required legal & compliance regulations and reporting related to Takeda's hiring activities.

SKILLS and LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES


  • Minimum of 6+ years' experience within talent acquisition driving end-to-end recruitment is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate complex issues and concepts to a wide range of external and internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management.
  • Experience within the pharma / biotech / life sciences industry and/or Technology space is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Domestic travel, estimated up to 15%
