We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer in the area of Audio subsystem who is interested to work on Intel's latest client products. They would join System Integration and Validation team, part of Client Computing Group that delivers production ready software solutions for Ultrabooks, Notebooks, Detachables, Clamshells and Desktops. They would contribute to comprehensive integration and validation of Audio subsystem on Windows Platform.
Job roles and responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Understand program requirements, plan and drive integration and validation of audio subsystem components on different generation of Intel platforms
* Create system validation plan for Audio subsystem and execute. Develop test suites for new features and optimize
* Debug and root cause issues, drive technical discussions with stake holders including ISVs issues resolution meeting schedule with quality
* Engage with various cross functional teams like design, architecture, firmware, ISVs and other pre/post silicon HW/SW teams to gather audio subsystem requirements and BKMs

* Candidate should have B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics stream with more than 3 years of industry experience
* Excellent Knowledge of Audio and voice codecs
* Good to have experience in Audio Use-case (Playback, Capture, VOIP, A2DP, Voice Call, BTHFP etc) integration and validation
* Good knowledge of programming languages like C/C++ or scripting languages like Python
* Good to have experience in Multimedia (media, video, audio, imaging) subsytem
* Good to have experience in Windows Audio Architecture and its interaction with platform level components
* Good to have Linux ALSA/Tiny ALSA Driver Architecture, Soundwire experience and its interaction with platform level components
* Knowledge of Intel platform hardware and software technologies is a plus
* Experience of Windows Driver Architecture or development is a plus
* Knowledge of debug tools like WinDBG, JTAG, MSFT WPA, etc is a plus
