- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Bluetooth firmware.
- Serve as a maintainer for the test automation codebase, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with firmware developers to understand new features and define test strategies.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure the quality of the firmware.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Document test cases, test plans, and test results.
- Continuously improve the test automation process and contribute to best practices.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, effectively communicating progress, issues, and solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in test automation, specifically for firmware or embedded systems.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, or similar.
- Experience with Bluetooth technology and protocols (e.g., BLE, Classic Bluetooth).
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and effective communication.
- Experience in maintaining and managing codebases, ensuring high standards of code quality.
