Purpose of the Job

Responsible for designing the various Telecom sub-systems for Urban/Mainline projects based on the project requirements. The position needs to understand customer requirements and project context. Participate in the design workshops with customer and work towards getting approval as per the project key milestones. Day to day responsibilities include preparation of Design documents, Interacting with  vendors for various for various Telecom sub-system. Working closely with all stakeholders like PM, other SSLs, Interface Manager , Civil contractors. Etc.

• Adhering to technical processes
• Accurate and On Time Reporting
• QCD is as per WP commitment

Job Specifications:

• Designing solution for Telecom projects
• Participating in technical workshop with customer
• Supervising and supporting T&C team
• Interface with OEMs
• Close design documents with customers

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Required Experience/Skills

• Minimum 10 to 12 years relevant experience in rail Telecom domain or IT/Telecom industry  as independent contributor. (5 years in Metro projects)
• Experience in designing the various Telecom sub-systems   to meet customer's design , operational and functional requirements.
• Should have experience and knowledge of developing various interfaces of Telecom with other systems like SIG , Rolling stock etc.
• Systems Thinking mindset / acumen.

• Flexible and resilience to work on multiple projects at a time depending on requirements.
• Team orientation
• Aptitude to understand customer requirements and translating it to Architecture & Design documents to meet the project deadlines with minimum iterations.
• Effective communication
