Your Role and Responsibilities
Systems administrator focusing (but not limited to) virtualization on the Power platform- including system Maintenance (HMC, System firmware, System Microcode, VIOS), Image builds, AIX administration.
System lifecycle- bringup, maintenance, decomm
Maintain multisite power infrastructure: HMC code levels, System Firmware, adapter microcode, VIOS
Build and maintain OS Images for deployment in conjunction with other members of OneCloud team (automation / security)
Respond to outages and customer issues with client LPARs
Implement and enhance automation to reduce manual workload across infrastructure footprint
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years of relevant experience.
Assist with Systems Administration duties on other platforms as appropriate
KVM on Power / S390X / x86_64
VMware on x86_64
Respond to customer issues on other platforms
Additional work as assigned
