About the department


You will be part of Novo Nordisk's Talent Learning and Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Centre of Excellence (CoE), joining the Commercial People Development Partnering team, which consists of 6 dedicated colleagues situated in different locations across the world. The position


As People Development Partner, APAC you will closely collaborate within the regional senior vice president area (SVP) and work closely with the Global Centre of Excellence of Talent, Learning, and D&I to enable business units to enhance performance, culture, and learning, allowing them to navigate present and future challenges. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on strategic learning projects and initiatives across the company, challenge our global learning agenda, introduce innovative design, and set direction.


You will serve as a trusted partner and advisor on talent and development needs, developing solutions that support local strategic priorities, while also supporting leaders through team development and facilitation designed to improve team performance. The position will be based in Bangalore, India and support the commercial affiliates of Region APAC . As an SVP People Development Partner, you will have the following key responsibilities:


  • Identifying development solutions for local strategic challenges.
  • Launching and embedding Global learning initiatives to ensure our concepts stick.
  • Customization and Localization of leadership and talent development
  • Facilitation and coaching for Vice President (VP) Leadership teams.
  • Ensuring evaluation, feedback and reporting on business impact.

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in business, Human Resources (HR), Psychology or similar.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of proven HR experience with and influence stakeholders at all levels. You should also demonstrate agility and adapt quickly to change, lead and coach people, and manage to set the direction in a complex and changing environment.
  • Possess strong stakeholder, change management, and communication skills and have solid experience with team development and driving transformation processes to successful implementation.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in partnering with HR business partners and business leaders to design, develop and implement talent strategy solutions for an organisation.
  • Self-driven, have strong interpersonal skills, and a pragmatic approach, show engagement and authenticity, and be able to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
