The Office of the COO is responsible for driving Citi’s Transformation, which is an unparalleled opportunity to modernize and simplify our bank so that we improve how we serve our clients, make Citi an easier place to work and ultimately benefit our shareholders. With the COO organization leading the most critical regulatory & transformation efforts for Citi's CEO, and influencing the strategy & direction of Citigroup this position will be responsible for the operationalization of key Consent Order metrics and associated analytics in support of the Cross-Enterprise Transformation Portfolio. The metrics will evidence Citi's progress on the various Transformation efforts as well as highlight improvement in reduction of risk across the firm as a result of the Transformation work initiatives.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Define the vision and end state for operationalizing metrics reporting by building a highly qualified team of 5-8 team members in the areas of reporting and analytics capabilities.


  • Team Leadership and people management responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and career growth related discussions, etc.


  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across businesses and functions to understand their processes and help them to define tangible KPI’s, reporting metrics and measurements.


  • Ensure adherence with established policies and milestone timelines for data gathering, data quality (DQ) checks, metrics development, assembly of reporting dashboards, and QA to produce TPO deliverables within responsibility on-time.


  • Setting up the end-to-end reporting processes, SLA timelines for inputs and review, final submission at monthly/quarterly intervals to internal senior management and regulators


  • Ensure reporting processes are documented, defined, maintained, and up-to-date.


  • Partner with technology to perform current state assessment of existing reporting tools and complete tool selection for each use case as required.


  • Partner with senior technology members for discussions related to sourcing of feeds for operationalizing the metrics manually. The role will also be responsible to interact with tech team for build out of reporting infrastructure, BI tools selection, roll out of analytical and trending capabilities, and overall reporting automation and enhancements.


  • Ensure design of reporting and analytical capabilities adhere to all Citi Risk and Control requirements.


  • Network with other teams within TPM to understand reporting codependences.


  • Review/analyze deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and positioning of important information.


  • Distribute deliverables to stakeholders, and respond to queries from stakeholders /metrics consumers, providing timely response on various metrics related matters.


  • Participate and lead ad-hoc User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new/revised methodology of metrics development and reporting.


  • Participate in strategic planning meetings covering areas of possible evolution and/or expansion of metrics involvement, inclusive of tech/automation.


  • Define and govern a structured process to drive continuous improvement to processes and functionality.


  • Assess reporting tool performance and look for process efficiencies to be derived from the deployment of these solutions.


  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:


  • Overall 13+ years of experience preferably in Banking and Financial Services Industry including 5+ years of people managerial experience.


  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline. Master’s degree in related field a plus


  • Possess a strong understanding of Citi's data architecture and reporting platform architecture requirements and performance standards.


  • Experience using various Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, and MicroStrategy)


  • Expert knowledge of key reporting and analytics capabilities and tools like Tableau, etc.


  • Prior experience in defining KPIs and associate measurements in a large financial institution.


  • Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts.


  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests.


  • Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to engage/influence at the senior management level.


  • Integrity, maturity, dependability, and a positive professional attitude


  • Excellent leadership and project management skills with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change.


  • Ability to plan and develop, lead initiatives with a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively problem solve as well as multi-task effectively and efficiently.


  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience in managing large scale projects using Agile preferred
