Role Purpose

• Provide valued ALCM insights to support, influence and challenge the strategic direction of associated business area(s).
• Act as a trusted ALCM advisor to senior management, provide valued insights to steer business decision making.
• Innovatively apply commercial acumen to ALCM metrics, driving business performance and directing business management to focus on profitable activities.
• Build and maintain business relationships to support strategic change in the business.
• Provide quick responses to ALCM ad-hoc requests from the Business and external regulatory bodies.
• Manage treasury metrics and limits, with regards to treasury FIM and regulatory policies.
• Manage Liquidity and funding related aspects of the ALCM function including implementation of Liquidity related policy of Bank covering Liquidity Premium, Liquidity behaviouralisation, Liquidity recharge and TP.
• Prepare analysis of business area(s), provide ALCM focused recommendations to seize opportunities for growth and mitigate identified risks.
• Review ALCM/Treasury metrics of consolidated MI to deliver insightful ALCM analysis to the business, build the necessary MI tools and produce reports to be used by management.

Role Dimensions

The job holder has no direct control over any part of the Bank’s balance sheet, but the role is required to influence the management of the country’s balance sheet and the capital structure for the country.
