The Supervisor of Trade Services - Derivative Operations will oversee and manage daily activities related to derivatives trade confirmation, derivative reconciliation and collateral management. This role requires strong people management skills and the ability to handle complex transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
Derivatives Trade Confirmation:
Oversee the trade confirmation process for derivatives to ensure timely and accurate processing. Coordinate with internal teams and external counterparts to resolve any discrepancies.
OTC and ETD Reconciliation:
Manage the reconciliation of over-the-counter (OTC) and exchange-traded derivatives (ETD) positions and collateral. Ensure all discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
Prime Broker Collateral and Reconciliation:
Supervise the management and reconciliation of collateral held with prime brokers. Work closely with prime brokers to address any discrepancies and ensure compliance with collateral requirements
Fails Management:
Oversee the management of failed transactions related to derivatives, ensuring that all fails are investigated and resolved. Collaborate with relevant teams to minimize the risk of future transaction failures.
People Management:
Lead and mentor a team of operations analysts. Provide training, performance feedback, and career development support. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within investment operations or a related field.
A total of 7-8 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on derivatives operations and reconciliation.
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Power Platform certification preferred (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and process improvement.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Other Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education:
Master's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Work Shift Timing - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST / 6:30 PM to 3:30 PM IST (Depending on Requirement)
