Inbound Supervisor Job Description The Inbound Supervisor oversees all activities related to receiving goods, ensuring efficient and accurate unloading, inspection 5 and storage processes. They manage the inbound team and coordinate with procurement and inventory teams. 6 7 Key Responsibilities: 8 9 Supervise the unloading of goods and ensure proper verification against Invoice/ASN/Purchase Orders. 10 Inspect incoming shipments for damage, discrepancies, or quality Issues and report findings through mail 11 Ensure accurate documentation for all received goods (GRN, delivery notes, etc.). 12 Receipt Acknowledgement/POD Handover with proper remark of received material. 13 Manage and optimize space utilization for incoming inventory in coordination with the inventory team. 14 Coordinate with procurement, quality, and inventory departments to resolve inbound discrepancies. 15 Train and supervise the inbound team, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines. 16 Maintain cleanliness and organization of inbound docks and staging areas. 17 Prepare daily and weekly reports on inbound operations, delays, and team performance. 18 MDN (Material descrepancy note) or Inbound Discrepancy Tracker to be prepare on daily basis against receipt of material 19 Good knowledge of SAP related to all receiving activity. 20 Safety adherence and Kaizen implementation 21 Meet KPI 100% 22 Maintain good working relationships, Co-ordination, discussion and communication. 23 24 25 Key Skills: 26 27 Strong understanding of inbound logistics processes. 28 Proficiency in using SAP Or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). 29 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 30 Leadership and team management abilities.
