Role Summary & Role Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, planning and implementing technology solutions to achieve Global Markets technology directives. The individual will be responsible for working with Business and Technology counterparts across global sites as a Business Analyst and use their knowledge of the business systems, industry, and system development lifecycle methodology to successfully deliver high quality technology solutions for State Street Treasury’s Summit instance. The successful candidate must be skilled in business analysis; have strong QA testing skills; have expertise with functional requirements gathering and documentation; have strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; have a proven ability to liaise between business and technology teams and display collaboration skills.
Summit Business Analyst with 8-10 years of experience in Investment banking and capital markets domain
Proficiency in investment banking and capital markets domain Strong understanding of OTC(over-the counter)derivatives products and fixed income products Ability to interpret and analyze the client requirements effectively Experience in guiding the developers to comprehend and implement client requirements effectively
Responsibilities:
Analyze client requirements and collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives Translate client requirements into actionable tasks for development team Help development team to understand on the functional aspects of the client requirement Need to solve the production issue related to functional aspects
Core/Must have skills
Skill 1 -Finastra Summit application or any other similar products like Calypso,Murex or Simcorp
Skill 2- Hands on experience in OTC derivatives and fixed income products
Skill 3- Hands on experience in Investment banking and Capital markets domain
Good to have skills
Skill 1 – Basic quxery skill on Oracle sql
Skill 2 – Basic understanding of unix commands
