Job Description: SAP HCM and SAP Authorization HR IT SpecialistPosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled SAP HCM and SAP Authorization HR IT Specialist with 4+ years of experience to join our team. Overall IT experience of 8+ years.This role requires a blend of expertise in human resources and information technology to manage, enhance, and optimize our HR technology systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at resolving issues, supporting users across multiple time zones, and collaborating with international stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:-Incident Management: Handle and resolve 2nd level incidents, investigate recurring issues, and propose innovative solutions to prevent future occurrences.- User Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system users across various time zones.- Collaboration: Work closely with overseas stakeholders, IT developers, and other support teams to address HR technology needs.- Data Analysis: Generate and analyze HR data reports to support decision-making, develop and maintain dashboards for tracking key HR metrics, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.- Release Management: Coordinate release activities, conduct testing (including scenario preparation, test case review, instance testing, updates on testing tools, and exploratory testing), and manage documentation.- Content Management: Create and manage application-related content, community resources, and documentation.- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with stakeholders on topics such as interfaces and data security, and continuously enhance HR IT processes.- Knowledge Acquisition: Build and maintain knowledge of dependent applications or systems.- Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with any ad-hoc activities or new work packages as required.- Project Support: Support project managers with rollouts, including pre-rollout activities, change management, and communication management.- Change Management: Collaborate with the leave management team to handle change management activities.- Documentation: Create user guides and training materials to support system usage and best practices.- Process Streamlining: Identify and implement technology-driven improvements to streamline HR processes in collaboration with HR and IT teams.Must-Have Skills:- SAP HCM Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP HCM modules, including Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, Payroll, and Recruitment.- SAP Authorization: Proficiency in managing and configuring SAP authorization roles and profiles, including experience with role design, authorization objects, and access control.- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in configuring and troubleshooting SAP HCM and authorization issues. Ability to handle system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks.Good-to-Have Skills:- Additional SAP Modules: Knowledge of other SAP modules or integration points (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP CRM) that interact with SAP HCM.- Certifications: Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP HCM Certification or SAP Security Authorization Certification.- Project Management: Experience managing or participating in SAP HCM projects, including system implementations, upgrades, or process improvements.- Advanced Reporting: Ability to create advanced reports and dashboards using SAP reporting tools or third-party reporting solutions.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.- 4+ years of experience in SAP Authorization or a related role.- Logical, structured, and proactive approach to IT solutions.- Service-oriented mindset with empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards internal clients.- Strong understanding of HR processes and practices.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.- Project management skills are advantageous.- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.- Flexibility, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.- Detail-oriented with a commitment to thorough and persistent investigation.- Fluent in English (C1 level, both written and spoken); proficiency in German is a plus.
