Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Subject Matter Expert - Logistics in Chennai, India.

What a typical day looks like:

• Assist in the preparation of RFQ documents, providing clear and concise details on product or service requirements. 
• Collaborate with Global procurement teams to gather relevant information on pricing, delivery schedules, and terms from potential vendors.
• Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for certain decision-making.
• Manage the overall logistics cost and conduct a regular review of all logistics provider servicing Team Precision the best competitive price.
• Conduct cross freight forwarder rate comparisons and external market research to benchmark freight costs vs. industry standards.
• Maintain pricing trend records for carriers and the wider industry, noting key developments.
• Provide input into RFI and RFP responses, as requested.
• Analyze data collected from external and internal sources and prepare monthly reports

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Add in the required experiences & qualifications - 
• Education: any Bachelor / Master degree
• Experience: 6-9 yrs. Procurement / Supply Chain
• Well versed in MS office / analytics.  Tableau / Macros knowledge preferably great.
