What you will be doing :
• Facilitates development of relationships with vendors/suppliers and maintains relationships for long-term contracts.
• Establishes systems and procedures to ensure and enhance overall quality.
• Establishes requirements for suppliers to achieve process and quality standards.
• Reviews, analyzes, and monitors supplier contract performance and compliance.
• Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, and modifications to agreements.
• Develops and maintains vendor relationships including tracking and analysis of vendor spend and performance.
• Maintains solutions to ensure purpose and functionality of suppliers closely aligns with business procedures, directions and strategies.
• Manages the selection process to evaluate products based on user requirements, makes recommendations and ensures purchases are in alignment with current standards and strategy.
• Train, develop, and monitor lower level staff.
• May manage staff or line of business.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you will bring

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various s levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
• Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others
• Advance level understanding and hands-on experience of Procure to Pay/ RFx Events, Contract Management tools desir.
• Proficiency in MS-Office apps not limited to Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Teams.
• Proficiency in evaluating the performance capabilities of subordinates as well as counsel subordinates in development and/or corrective discipline
• Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures
• Proficiency to operate independently
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Advanced professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. Expertise in procurements of high value complex Software deals and specialised IT services including Data centre engagements and skilled labour deployment is a must. Has extensive understanding of all strategic sourcing policies and procedures. Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Ensures compliance to contract changes and/or updates based on corporate guidelines and regulatory compliance. May coach/mentor staff or manage multiple lines of business. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires more than five years of contract negotiation, financial management, and vendor relationship experience.
