Your Role and Responsibilities As Storage Administrator you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer satisfaction by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters. You will need to visit the domestic client’s offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role Role and Responsibilities
Installation and configuration of Storage Replication using Metro Mirror and Global Mirror.
Analyzing controller load performance and monitoring the storage performance.
Management fo Spectrum Control and Spectrum Protect.
Generation of storage and SAN utilization reports as per customer requirement.
Installation and configuration of Brocade SAN Switches and Routers
Zoning on Brocade SAN Switches
Monitoring SAN health like link errors/CRS error etc.
Troubleshooting of IBM SAN and analyzing event logs, and taking configuration backup.
Backing up SAN Switch Configuration on FTP Server.
Installation and Management of IBM Tape libraries
Installation and Configuration of IBM Storages Systems, DS8K and Tape libraries and SAN Switches, FCIP Routers.
Troubleshooting and Performance monitoring of IBM storages.
Configure Hosts and Host Groups on Storages.
Connectivity of Storage with SAN Switches and Servers.
Creation of Arrays, Logical Volumes (LUN) and mapping to Hosts\\Host groups.
Implementation of flash copy.
Configuration and execution of replication services
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Install and configure Brocade SAN switches and routers.
Perform zoning on Brocade SAN switches to manage SAN connectivity.
Monitor SAN health, including link errors and CRS errors.
Troubleshoot IBM SAN issues, analyze event logs, and perform configuration backups.
Backup SAN switch configurations to an FTP server
Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the Business needs
