As a Sr. consultant Software Engineer, you will be a part of eCheck team tasked with projects ranging from building full stack development of REST Service APIs, Back-end Batching applications, and Web Front-End User Interfaces that are highly functional, secure, scalable, and robust. You will participate in the full project lifecycle from start (gathering requirements) to finish (release into production) and will get excellent payment and checkout experience that will help you throughout your career.

We are an Agile Scrum development shop with 2-week iterations. Teams consist of a Dev Manager, QA Manager, developers, QA engineers, scrum master, and product owner with local Configuration Management and Database Engineering support.
Essential Functions:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
8+yrs of hands-on experience and deep knowledge in software product development (Java/J2EE, SOA based applications)3+ years of experience in designing/architectural horizontally scalable, multi-tenant SOA application
Proficient in implementing design patterns. Strong understanding of: Java, J2EE, RDBMS, NoSQL DB such as Cassandra, Mongo DB, Spring, Hibernate.
Experience in developing and deploying components as docker containers is must.
React / Redux experience is required.
Divides time between active coding related activities, design, coordination, mentoring, project management, and/or leading same.
Experience in deployment and distribution lifecycle with automated and scalable CI/CD infrastructure.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis

Thrives in a fast-paced environment producing and supporting business services with tier 0 severity and flexible to work with distributed global teams and willing to support clients globally

Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkin, Maven, Stash is must.
