We are looking for a Staff Software QA Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the manager of Software Engineering. In this role, you will ensure continuous improvement through your deep expertise in networking, cloud, automation development, test methodologies, and customer focus. You will be a part of the team that works on cutting-edge technologies like containers and cloud and builds a new SaaS offering for Infoblox. Develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools, and automated test suites in response to the growing feature set and customer requirements
Work closely with software engineers, test engineers, and product managers from the beginning of the development cycle and be an integral part of the Agile Engineering team
Work in a fast-paced, continuous integration and delivery-based engineering environment
Write test scripts in Python for web-UI and micro services
Manage, monitor, test, and execute on a daily basis
Build cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks for deploying, managing, and monitoring SaaS applications running on AWS
What you’ll bring:
12+ years of experience developing functional and end-to-end tests
Track record in developing highly maintainable functional and end-to-end tests for microservices architectures
Excellent Python skills
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines
Capacity to develop modular and maintainable test harnesses
Experience with document test execution issues and deliverables
Knowledge of test frameworks, pyTest preferred
Solid Selenium work experience
Good understanding of REST APIs and building integrations using the programmable interfaces
Experience with technologies such as Agile lifecycle, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA, and Git is highly preferred
