We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer - Systems to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems that power our organization's critical infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence and innovation.

• Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable system architectures
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to define technical requirements and solutions
• Develop and optimize high-performance, distributed systems
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
• Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and implement performance improvements
• Participate in capacity planning and system reliability initiatives
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in systems engineering
• Contribute to the development of best practices, coding standards, and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on systems engineering
• Proven track record of leading complex technical projects and mentoring junior engineers
• Strong programming skills in languages such as  Java, or Python
• Extensive experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems and networking protocols
• Proficiency in system design, architecture, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Expertise in scalability and reliability engineering for large-scale systems
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in systems engineering
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus
