Overall Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced SRE Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring core software platforms, analyzing and troubleshooting issues, and automating manual processes. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to investigate issues, implement solutions, and drive improvements in the reliability and performance of software systems within the organization.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Monitor core software platforms for performance and reliability.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Automate manual processes to enhance system efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
- Implement solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
- Drive continuous improvements in system operations and support practices.
Technical Skills:
Monitoring and Analysis Tools:
- Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, DataDog.
- Proficiency with log monitoring tools such as Sumo Logic, Splunk.
Programming:
- Strong programming skills in high-level languages such as Java, Python, or Golang.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages like Go, Ruby (Good to have).
Cloud Platforms:
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP is highly desirable.
Containerization:
- Knowledge of Docker and Swarm (Good to have).
Experience:
- 4 to 9 years of industry experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer with a strong focus on production support and incident management.
- Prior experience in production support (L1 / L2) is required.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Perform regular monitoring of software platforms to ensure optimal performance.
- Analyze and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability.
- Implement best practices for incident management and problem resolution.
- Provide on-call support and work in shifts, including night shifts, as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in SRE, cloud platforms, or programming languages are a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including night shifts.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
