Responsibility:
Collaborate with different teams and devise strategy to improve system reliability by looking at past incidents, system metrics and trends
Collaborate with Dev team to identify potential risk and devise risk mitigation strategies
Monitoring system health and performance. Act on system alerts
Design self healing systems
Maintain CI/CD Pipelines
Ensure security compliance, conduct security assessments, vulnerability management and certification management
Continuous service improvements – Resource optimization, Performance and FinOps
Plan for DR testing
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or IT related field or equivalent IT related experience.
5+ years of DevOps engineer experience within the Financial Services and Data domains
Experience of developing solutions with Python 3
Experience working in the Data domain, covering the full data pipeline from ingestion, mastering, management and consumption/distribution of large datasets
Experience with No-SQL and Relational databases
Must Have
Deep experience of DevOps solutions and practises
Implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, usage of CI/CD pipelines like GitLab for efficient and automated test and deployment processes
Familiar with container technologies (Kubernetes)
Familiar with AWS solutions incl. IAM, Step Functions, Glue, Lambda, RDS, (e.g. DynamoDB, Aurora Postgres), SQS, API Gateway, Athena, S3
Familiar with logging, monitoring and alerting solutions like CloudWatch, X-Ray and DataDog
Familiar with Cloud Security, AMI Management, Vulnerability Management, Certification Management and FinOps
Good to have
Familiar with ITIL Framework
