Amazon Pay is looking for self started TPM to join the team. You will be accountable for driving the entire product lifecycle, from product definition through specification, coding, quality assurance and launch to the world. You will get an opportunity to influence Amazon technical architecture across multiple orgs, establish and own a roadmap. This role requires working with across product teams as well as Governance, Risk, and Compliance business units to define strategy and requirements. This TPM also need to communicate regularly with senior management (directors and VPs) on status, risks and help needed. Cross-team collaboration, agile project management, data analysis, and executive communication skills are essential.
Qualified candidates have experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets as well as analysing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization.
Knowledge of the following is required: service-oriented architecture, product development life cycle, release processes, agile project management. The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years of relevant work experience in e-commerce related project and/or technical product management in a software applications environment. An undergraduate degree in software-product management, computer science, or equivalent experience is required.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage delivery of complex and ambiguous customer-facing programs working across teams and organizations within Amazon as well as with external partners
- Work with product management, engineering teams and external partners and define technical requirements
- Write high level technical solution documents for problems areas as needed
- Cover end to end program management for the entire lifecycle of the program from planning till launch including aspects such as (but not limited to) planning, risk management, requirements management, change management and stakeholder management.
- Build, integrate, and maintain reporting for areas of responsibility within existing reporting schemes and mechanisms. Where required, implement new reporting.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs Plan and coordinate events including facilitation and action item management.
- Implement or enable virtuous continuous improvement processes in team so as to maximize team productivity.
- Develop, Own, and report on: program goals, performance, efficacy and efficiency to a variety of stakeholders across different technical domains and at varying cadences (weekly / monthly / quarterly) through well written documents for area of responsibility.

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
