The Experience

Our highly technical and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate-Palmolive in this constantly evolving landscape.


What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?


We are seeking a candidate who is a subject matter expert and responsible for the design, development, and implementation of various applications in the area of large-scale worldwide Colgate e-Commerce Operation and provides support.


We expect the person to collaborate with business teams/functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.


We believe the person should have the ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.


Who are you...


  • Support Product Managers in defining and prioritizing a well-defined roadmap for digital commerce sites.


  • Support the Product Team in delivering product enhancements as defined by the Product Manager’s Roadmap.


  • Defining the release process and coordinating all activities to help build the product/site.


  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, workflow analysis.


  • Work with IT, UX, and business teams to groom functional and design requirements on major features.


  • Develop user stories, technical requirements, process flow diagrams, and relationship diagrams such as flowcharts.


  • Ensure User Stories are tested, completed, and deployed.


  • You will ensure testing the quality of sites and write test plans for external testers.


  • Promote adherence to project documentation.


  • Ensure site experience and design is consistent with Colgate brands and legal requirements.


  • Lead a scrum team during stand-up calls.


You connect the dots :


Assist in defining success metrics and crafting event-based analytics with the development team during the feature definition stage. After launch, evaluate the feature's performance using these analytics and guide future iterations in collaboration with Product Managers. Work with Technical Leads to maintain plan integration and ensure the achievement of overall product objectives.


You are a collaborator :


Collaborate with business teams/functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies. Also, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the product into various workflows.


You are an innovator :


Stay updated with the latest technological advancement! Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work. Identify and explore new opportunities to leverage new technologies to enhance the Platform.


What you’ll need…(Required):


  • Over 5+ years of IT experience.


  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst/Manager.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar degree.


  • Experience with leading Digital Commerce platforms development such as Shopify, Commerce Cloud, Magento, Salesforce, etc.


  • Working on Agile/SCRUM development teams.


  • A functional understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.


  • Clear, concise, and user-friendly interpersonal skills to easily transmit your ideas to any audience.


  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.


  • Ability to work on numerous assignments at one time with proven follow-through, attention to detail, and dedication to business partnership.


  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity - in business requirements, technology options, and product/site direction.


  • Understanding of standard QA practices to ensure core quality gates are being observed.


  • Ability to adapt and grow within a dynamic work environment with a supportive team culture.


  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills, and the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs into technical specifications.


What you’ll need…(Preferred):


  • Experience in Google Analytics (or similar).


  • Agile/SAFe/CSM certification.


  • Certification in Product Manager or Product Owner (PMPO).


  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, and/or Trello).


  • Experience with web development/architecture is a plus.


  • Leverage User Centric Design and apply User Experience concepts.


  • Experience in B2B commerce technology is a plus.


  • Experience in user research or design thinking.
