Your Impact:
As a Senior Software Engineer you will Write technical specifications for new features and provide time estimates for assigned tasks
What the role offers:
- Write technical specifications for new features and provide time estimates for assigned tasks.
- Work with Manager & Engineering team to assess technical feasibility of new features.
- Design and implement new features.
- Fix defects in existing software for regularly scheduled maintenance releases as well as patch releases.
- Manage customer issues and provide detailed and timely reports
- Work with various Documentum teams including QA and Customer Support to resolve technical issues.
- Program in Java/J2EE, JSP/Servlets, Javascript etc
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of software development experience
- MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent. Strong Analytical Skills
- Must have a demonstrated track record of managing and shipping “enterprise class” web based applications
- Proficient with one or more of the following : Java, J2EE, REST, AngularJS, extJS, Javascript
- Good understanding of J2EE architecture
- Strong background in Object-oriented programming and Design Patterns
- Proven track record in development of software projects from start to finish on schedule in a quality manner
- Knowledgeable in software development best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Considered a Big Plus:
- Experience developing Web Applications for multiple application servers - WebLogic, Tomcat, Websphere etc
- Experience with Document Management and Web Content Management applications
- Knowledge of Web Services
- Working knowledge of newly evolving technologies
- Keen to pursue career growth in the technical ladder
- Proven innovator with patent disclosures/awards
- Excellent in articulation and influencing others
One Last Thing:
- You are persistent and inquisitive. You have to understand why things are happening the way they are.
- You are determined to understand cyber attack techniques at a very detailed level.
- You are a self-starter who is able to work with minimal management, however have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work together with several other professionals from other information security fields.
