Your Role and Responsibilities
Software Development of modern Z Systems Management solutions, zAIOps SW feature development and thoroughly testing new code fixes/enhancements
Developing build tooling, functional test and security test automation for better quality and security
Collaborating in a team-driven environment with a group of experienced software engineers who want to deliver leading edge function on the mainframe platform.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
z/OS Expertise: z/OS skills and experience are required with proficiency in mainframe operating systems and environments.
Problem-Solving Skills: Root cause analysis and debugging skills are necessary for effectively identifying and resolving issues in mainframe applications.
Programming Proficiency in some of the following languages: Script Languages, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, C, Node.js or other high level languages showcasing your ability to develop robust software solutions.
Highly motivated and open to other programming languages which includes even assembler
Knowledge of Security on the Z platform
Familiarity with Github, Jenkins, groovy and Python to manage the source code and build environments
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience using IBM Mainframe apps/tools such as Z System Automation, Z NetView, JCL, TSO/E
Experience with Full Development Lifecycle using Agile methodology (e.g., SAFe)
Experience in Ansible Automation
Knowledge of containerization technology (docker, Kubernetes etc.)
