Sr. SAP SD IT Business Analyst

About your future Role

Alcon India is looking to hire a Senior SAP ERP Sales and Distribution functional business analyst with focus on system integration. The role is to identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering and define scope and objectives for the system and its interfaces. You would be designing integrated software solutions to meet business needs, developing interface programming functional specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts and also, configuring, customizing, diagnosing, testing, and enhancing SAP software.

You would be part of an expanding team in our Digital Hub in Bangalore.

Summary of Position:

Senior SAP ERP Sales and Distribution functional business analyst with focus on system integrations and digital.  The work includes: •Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the system and its interfaces• Designing integrated software solutions to meet business needs. Developing interface programming functional specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts •Configuring, customizing, diagnosing, testing, and enhancing SAP software.

Key Responsibilities :

• Designs and configures asynchronous and synchronous SAP ERP systems interface solutions to address internal and external business requirements which fit within the company's system architecture and processing standards.
• Revises existing system interfaces and tests functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
• Involved in planning of system interfaces, development, and deployment which meet software compliance standards.
• Documents testing of and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations.
• Liaisons with other business functional and technical areas to provide automated integrated solutions to meet business and end-customer requirements.
• Evaluates interface between systems and operational requirements. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures system compatibility, and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in SAP business consultancy in an international environment.
• Demonstrated SAP Sales and Distribution functional experience which includes SD setup and configuration.
• Demonstrated SAP full life-cycle implementation experience
• Demonstrated SAP interfaces and integrations experience which include direct experience and familiarity with IDOCs
• Strong Order to Invoice business process knowledge and end-to-end Integration testing skills.
• Work Hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST, Monday - Friday. A minimum of three days per week are on-site in-office.

It would be nice if you have:

• SAP S&D Certification
• Programming skills with any programming language
• Familiarity with common SAP interface platforms such as Mulesoft, Sterling Integrator, SAP PI/XI/CPI.
• Familiarity with common electronic business interchange standards and formats such as EDIFACT or X12.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with E-invoice / E-document.
