JOB SUMMARY

Incumbent should be able to spearhead , supervise, monitor and ensure the Environment Health safety (EHS) function at manufacturing plant from time to time. He should have prior experience in Heavy manufacturing industry and awareness of safety norms to be followed. His qualification should be ratified by Inspector of Factories, Andhra Pradesh. He should have minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Safety of Plant & EHS norms.

QUALIFICATION: B.E/B.TECH (CIVIL); Diploma (Civil/Mechanical), or B.Tech (Safety Engineering) or Diploma in Safety.( Central or Regional Labour Institute ) , Incumbents Qualification should be ratified by the Inspector of Factories AP.
EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY:: 8 -10 years of Experience in heavy manufacturing Industry set up handling end – end activities of Plant EHS function.
LOCATION OF WORK: HYDERABAD
Recognizes, evaluates, recommends, and implements policies and procedures to assure awareness of and compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements of the plant.
Works with and provides direction to workers and plant executives handling manufacturing operations on Safety issues and preventive steps.
Responsible for establishing and enforcing compliance to all applicable local law and state laws, pertaining to health and safety and Environment.
Assess hazards, drives to root causes and implements containment and controls to prevent incident. Creates and administers formal inspection process - focusing on not only unsafe conditions but unsafe acts as well. Reviews incident trends and adjusts programs focus accordingly. Drives all actions to timely completion and final closure.
Develops and provide health and safety training for plant executives and workmen.
Promote communication programs like organizing Safety weeks and safety festivals and competitions to increase employee awareness of all safety issues.
