Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence centre with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40 countries across different energy sectors. The team caters to the four business units—Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.


Mission Statement:


  • As a member of Quality & HSE team, you will be part of Operation Center, India (INOPC-PG), aiming to develop a global value chain, where key business activities, resources and expertise are shared across geographic boundaries in order to optimize value for Hitachi Energy PowerGrid’s customers across markets.  

Roles and responsibilities:


  • Preparing management level presentation based on above information gained in above point
  • Understanding and assisting in maintaining the QCI and HSE management systems
  • Developing and improving HSE and QCI processes and procedures related to the role
  • Collaborate with Power Quality HSE and QCI organizations on a regular basis and occasionally with other Power Quality departments and HBUs
  • Lean sigma six certification.

Your background:


  • Hands on experience in Engineering design / Testing & Commissioning / Maintenance of Substations and /or Power plants
  • Hands on experience in handling Quality procedure, QMS audits, CCPR, SNCRP, Health, Safety and environment compliance reporting in Power plants and / or Substations.
  • Excellent skills in preparing Power Point presentation and Excel reports.
  • master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering with specialization in Quality management, HSE and data analytics.
  • A minimum work experience of 10+ years in relevant domain is mandatory.
  • Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.
