Our Digital Grid Management software suite, including AspenTech OSI products, helps power and utilities companies achieve superior real-time control, optimization and management for exceptional performance of complex energy networks.The RoleIn this role, the Senior Project Engineer will be taking care of technical aspects of project delivery for SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects using DGMs monarch platform for customers across India, SEA, MENA, and other geographies. The Sr Project Engineer will be responsible for design, planning, integration, testing, training, and commissioning of hardware and software requirements on a customer system based on project specifications. Understanding of utility use-cases (Electricity / Gas / Water / Renewables) are preferred.Your ImpactAssess technical specification requirements for projects, evaluate risks and identify mitigation plans.Understand project requirements through interactions with customer & internal stakeholders. Delegate tasks within and across the teams as necessary.Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems using OSI monarch products.Prepare project documentation including Functional design, Test procedures.Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration and perform factory functional testing for SCADA, Web platform, High speed Historian, and other related functionalities.Document and track progress of project activities and resolve any technical issues.Provide training to customers on OSI products such as SCADA, FEP, Web platform, ICCP.What You'll Need5 to 8 years’ experience with SCADA systems for utilities.Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering.Experience with SCADA systems, data base creation, integration of RTUs with IEC104 / IEC101 / DNP3 protocols, establishing ICCP protocol connections between control centers.Knowledge of configuration of SCADA software packages, RDBMS database such as MySQL / PostreSQL, ODBC and report generation.Knowledge of computer architectures, networking, databases and operating systems.Flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites (expect 20% travel)Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel without compromising quality of project delivery.Understanding of lifecycle of software project delivery.Understanding of networking, TCP/IP and routing principles.Knowledge of computer programming with C# or Python.#LI-RR1
