This is an engineering project management position that focuses primarily on driving improvement and transformation within the STO organisation. The STO group is one of very few that offer engagement in product development activity across P&WCs complete portfolio of engines.
Reporting directly to the STO Director, this position will allow the candidate to evolve within a very dynamic team, engaged in tackling the various challenges associated with production readiness and the provision of engineering support to a large operations group (manufacturing and Engine Centre).
Level of responsibility:
• Accountable for specified business/operational results
• Cyient interface (alignment/improvement of tools to business needs)
• Manages projects which involve co-ordinating / managing deliverables from other managers and/or senior individual contributors
What your day to day will look like (Key Responsibilities)
Your responsibilities will include providing overall leadership to a multidisciplined team to meet our continuous improvement / transformation goals and will vary as a function of our evolution. They will include the following:
• Participate in strategic planning to prepare team for future challenges.
• Work in close collaboration with the other STO Project Managers to develop synergies between the different groups.
• Work in close collaboration with our internal customers to develop business solutions / improvements / processes.
• Drive new technology (eg. AI).
• Optimization of analytical / governance tools (now working on layout transformation, QNs ….)
• Budget/Resource preparation (alignment)
• Operations interface for large projects
• Support ongoing transformation of NPI - Producibility Focus / Industrialization
• Support running ORM and issuing newsletter.
• Cyient interface
