Job Overview
Our innovative software team working on developing content management solution is expanding its SaaS Operations team and currently looking for seasoned and entry level professionals to assist with our future.
You would participate in architecture design, software deployment, developer support, and system configuration, all while ensuring our clients’ data stays safe, secure and highly available.
You would join our production support team with a focus on AWS cloud, EMR, CI/CD release deployment and automation infrastructure. Operations support and application troubleshooting. This is true Software as a Service platform role with an emphasis on DevOps, with ownership of our automation framework, process enhancement, collaboration with engineering teams and hands-on console work. 
Essential Functions
•    Works with customers and project management teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
•    Prepares for recurring internal meetings and advises on timeline progression.
•    Experience working with Linux, Windows, Middleware Apache-tomcat, AWS cloud or Azure environment.
•    Good hands-on experience with DevOps tool, EMR
•    Any database and writing simple queries to get data for debugging issues.
•    Experience working with CI/CD, release deployment, writing GIT pipeline and automation.
Work with customers and project management teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
•    Day to day management of the ticketing queue for clients ensuring completion in line with client needs/expectations.
•    Prepares for recurring internal meetings and advises on timeline progression
Responsible for various administrative tasks.
•    Participate in QA, UAT & production launch support related to various customer engagements.
•    Collaborate with product development team to help support platform functionality.
•    Provide Tier3 technical support for custom integrations and platform.
•    Expected to drive resolution to remediate both routine and non-routine problems and hold resources accountable to provide permanent solutions designed to improve the customer experience.

•    Improves IQVIA's multi-tenant backup strategy and performance.
•    Automates the elasticity of our environment as IQVIA scales.
•    Gets all new software deployments down to minutes.
•    Ensures all tickets are up to date. Responsible for ticket escalation as needed.
•    Experience working with Splunk, monitoring, performance tools.
•    Being able to creatively come up with solutions for various problems.
•    An in-depth understanding of the different products.
•    Working Knowledge on with any of the languages like Shell, Python.
•    Excellent analytical and logical thinking.
•    Quick troubleshooting and diagnosing skills.
•    Problem-solving and debugging skills.
•    Ability to access/understand logs / UNIX
•    Preferred to have ITIL certification and knowledge.
•    Experience in Atlassian Tool (such as JIRA and Confluence)
•    Experience with ticket triage and Root Cause Analysis
•    Willingness to work on a 24x7 rotational shift.

Qualifications
bachelor’s degree or master’s degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
12 years+ of related experience
10 years+ System experience
Required technologies:
Puppet, Python/Ruby, Terraform, Kubernetes and Automation.
Tomcat
Splunk, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL databases
Good Knowledge on AWS EC2, EMR and Azure
Experience in a highly available cloud environment, AWS EC2, EMR and Azure
Working knowledge of Linux operations (CentOS, RHEL, Oracle Linux)
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
Working knowledge of automation and management software like Puppet and Packer
Solid understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
