About the role:



The Senior Product Manager for the Person Domain in the Research Data Platform will define and lead the execution of the roadmap for the individual data products and capabilities within the domain. This role involves identifying and understanding new customer needs, evaluating product hypotheses, and proposing solutions to address these needs. You will be the domain expert in internal and customer-facing meetings.


Responsibilities:



  • Define the roadmap for the individual data products and capabilities within the domain, aligning with technical and commercial goals for the Research Data Platform (RDP).



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the roadmap.



  • Identify and prioritize new customer needs through market research and customer feedback.



  • Evaluate product hypotheses and propose innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.



  • Serve as the domain expert in internal and customer-facing meetings, effectively communicating product vision and strategy.



  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to ensure the product remains competitive and relevant.



  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment, valuing diverse perspectives and contributions.


Requirements:



  • 5+ years in Product Management/Product ownership and preferably 7+ years in the industry in product development roles, experience in Data Products is a plus



  • Ability to successfully develop and grow products using data-driven, iterative product development approach.



  • Proven experience in leading product discovery, strong knowledge of product discovery techniques



  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to achieve results.



  • Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, able to think analytically.



  • Experience in various technologies to assist day-to-day tasks (Databricks, Jira, Miro, Tableau, etc.), data science techniques and technical architecture principles and best practices (e.g. Data Mesh).



  • Education to Qualify: Bachelors or Masters degree required with a technical discipline (Computer Science or Engineering) being preferred but not essential.



  • Knowledge of the workflows and needs of researchers is a plus
