We're seeking a results-driven Sr. Planning and Ops Manager to lead critical inventory efficiency initiatives that will transform our India marketplace operations at scale. This is a high-visibility role where you'll drive programs that directly impact Amazon India's operational excellence and bottom line.
You will be the key owner of seller/vendor operational performance metrics and orchestrate initiatives to improve inventory efficiency across our fulfillment network. Operating at the convergence of marketplace sellers, FC operations, and supply chain teams, you'll scale solutions that enhance both vendor experience and operational productivity. Success in this role requires a builder's mindset - you'll design scalable processes, drive system improvements, and deliver measurable results through data-driven decision making.
This high-impact role demands exceptional project management capabilities and bias for action. You'll partner with category leaders, seller teams, operations, and tech teams to solve complex operational challenges. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous environments and can influence without authority across multiple stakeholder groups.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive end-to-end ownership of strategic inventory efficiency programs, from conception to scaled implementation
• Lead data-driven improvements in seller/vendor operational metrics, with clear accountability for achieving targets
• Partner with operations teams to identify and execute cost reduction and lead time optimization initiatives across the supply chain
• Build scalable solutions and frameworks that can be implemented across the broader operations network
• Develop compelling business cases backed by rigorous analysis and clear ROI metrics
• Leverage advanced analytics (SQL, Excel) to surface insights and drive decision making
• Lead cross-functional execution of high-priority operational initiatives with tight timelines

- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience delivering results by partnering with and influencing others
- Experience working with complex data sets
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
