Role Description:
Drive, manage
and support all product management activities for assigned portfolio within HCI
product management organization. You will own the assigned product portfolio,
end to end and will be accountable for product profitability and achieving
global AOP targets. You will work closely with people at all levels of the
organization, across business units and geographic regions to spearhead the product
strategy, roadmap and functionality that drive maximum growth and return on
investment of the organization’s product portfolio. You will integrate various
data from external and internal sources to develop distinctive product plans
with outstanding financial outcomes.
What will you be doing?
Develop new Product or Service offerings and own the end-to-end commercialization of the offerings and GTM strategy.
Prepare customer-tested market requirements, business cases, product roadmaps, lifecycle management plans and value-based pricing strategy
Support presentations to executive team to secure required management approvals for product development proposals, Strategic plans and investment prioritization requests.
Work with Technology team to direct feature enhancement of existing product lines. Guide product teams through agile development processes. Work with project management to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Encourage a constant flow of valuable new product ideas with the engineering team throughout the product development process to maximize effectiveness
Establish regular cadences with installed base customers, such as Customer Advisory Boards, User Group meetings and periodic updates; work with product support functions to ensure that installed base customer issues are addressed
Collaborate with Marketing teams on VOC, market analysis, customer segmentation, value propositions, competitive analysis, targeted marketing campaigns, developing marketing collaterals (PIN’s, Case studies, etc), sales training, product demo’s, webinars, specifications and events.
Collaborate with regional / global sales & consulting teams to assess, sell and deploy large integrated MES projects. As required, you may be required to work with strategic customers on specific business process driven solution.
Analyze major technology advances/inflections (e.g. IIoT, AI/ML) and macro-economic trends impacting industry to help drive product line roadmap in concert with organization wide strategies.
Manage the offering lifecycle, including pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
Drive profitability and growth through effective pricing and revenue optimization strategies

5+ years’ Experience in Product Management roles
Excellent understanding of the industrial space; MES applications like Operations Management, Historian, Alarm Management & Control Systems,
Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment; demonstrated experience working with teams in engineering, R&D, marketing, finance, sales, etc., using creative approaches to problem solving
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies; including SCRUM development process; Knowledge of Honeywell New Product Development process.
Experience working with UI/UX designers to take concept ideas to reality (via customer testing and validation)
Effective oral and written communicator that can convey information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse, global teams.
Self-managed individuals who are effective working within a geographical dispersed team.
Entrepreneurial and creative problem solvers, that demonstrate ability to overcome challenges with minimum guidance or supervision
Demonstrable financial acumen.
Microsoft Office Expertise
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. MBA will be an added advantage. 15+ years’ industrial experience.
