What you’ll do
The IT Deployment Manager drives the deployment of the applications, devices and products, which have been developed and ensures they are tested and ready for the operational environment, including managing overall release management.
The IT Deployment Manager focusses upon the supervision of a team, who execute activities for the integration and flow of the application/product and end-to-end application testing, ensuring it is fit-for-purpose and released properly into the production systems.
Typically reports to the Senior IT Deployment Manager.
Job Description
1.To define setup up adequate monitoring and probing according to KPI definition as to measure service availability, performance and ensure the associated SLAs
2.Monitor the service and detect any anomalies or problems proactively
3.Manage incident troubleshooting both from application and infrastructure; Resolve and liaise with the project ream for problem resolution
4.Devise Backup/Restore strategy and setup the necessary mechanisms for implementation
5.SPOC for Change Advisory Board and Change Management
6.Support for software rollout and deployment using the adequate deployment strategy
Skills Required
1.Excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, Basic Java understanding, Knowledge of Change Control Systems (GIT, SVN)
2.Deep Knowledge of shell scripting , phython scripting, Splunk, Networking, Snooping
3.Knowledge, SQL and PL/SQL or NoSQL (MongoDB) and cluster/scaling setup
