Role description:
Senior Manager - Risk Management Program Delivery and Governance: We are seeking a highly skilled and expert Senior Manager to join our Business Controls Office in Data and Analytics Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and enhancing our risk management framework, ensuring data quality, aligning risk strategies with business objectives and people management. This role requires a strategic problem solver with experience in risk management and the ability to cultivate a collaborative control ecosystem.
This role will report to the Director of Business Control Office, Data and Analytics Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Data-Driven Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies using data analytics to identify, assess, and mitigate risks
Assurance of Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of risk data through quality and Control assurance processes
Modelling for Tolerance Levels: Develop and maintain risk tolerance models; conduct scenario analysis and stress tests
Improved Risk Intelligence: Continuously supervise and analyze risks to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Strategic Alignment: Align risk management strategies with organizational goals and collaborate with business units
Efficient Project Management: Lead and run risk management projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Collaborative Control Ecosystem: Cultivate a collaborative environment for risk control and management with internal and external stakeholders.
Regular Risk Operating Committee Meetings: Coordinate and lead meetings, communicating risk assessments and updates.
Business Continuity and Crisis Management: Develop and maintain plans for business continuity and crisis management
People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing risk management team
Skills Required:
Minimum of 10 years of work experience
Experience in risk management related project management, metrics and governance
Excellent project management and organizational abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex risk concepts to diverse audiences
Proficiency in data analytics and risk management concepts
Strong leadership and team management skills!
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams!
