Sr Manager, Brand and Communication – Philips Indian Subcontinent 


As the Brand & Communications Manager for the Philips Indian Subcontinent, you will play a crucial role in driving brand visibility and reputation for Philips in India. You’ll be responsible for strategizing and executing a wide range of communications initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external partners to position Philips as a leader in health technology.

Key Responsibilities


In this role, you will:


- Develop and execute strategic communication programs to enhance Philips’ brand presence in India, both externally and internally.


- Drive brand positioning efforts to increase visibility for Philips India through PR and media engagements, collaborating with the Head of Communications and PR agency.


- Lead digital initiatives for product launches, announcements, and talent branding on Philips’ website and social media platforms.


- Oversee internal communications, including engagement campaigns, events, and the use of internal platforms such as Yammer/Viva Engage.


- Build and implement a comprehensive digital communications strategy, including social media, website content, and influencer engagement, with hands-on experience in tools like Sprinklr and Hootsuite.


- Engage with industry bodies for events, awards, and ensure spokespersons are well-prepared for public appearances.


- Ensure all communication aligns with Philips’ global brand guidelines and best practices.


Key Objectives


- Plan and strategize communication initiatives for both internal and external audiences.


- Take ownership of PR and media relationships to strengthen Philips' public image in India.


- Manage the development and flawless execution of communication campaigns across various channels, ensuring they are on-brand, on-time, and within budget.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver impactful and trackable results.


- Support key organizational activities such as quarterly meetings, town halls, and visits from global leadership.


Who You Are


To succeed in this role, you should have:


- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with > 10 years of experience in branding, communications, and digital marketing, ideally within a multinational company or PR agency.


- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal formats.


- Strong stakeholder management experience, with a proven track record of aligning and managing expectations across diverse groups.


- Extensive PR and media relations experience, with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders effectively.


- Familiarity with social media tools and strategies, particularly in a B2B context.


- A strategic mindset with the ability to drive results and demonstrate impact through measurable outcomes.


- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, digital media environment.

You will report to the Head of Brand, Communications & Digital for the Indian Subcontinent Market and collaborate with the global Philips Brand & Communications function, working closely with Communications Business Partners to manage the internal and external communications needs of Philips India.
