​The Opportunity:

​The Sr Growth Acquisition Marketer is responsible for leading the acquisition strategy for ApplyBoard globally. This person will lead the formation of an agile growth team to drive the development and execution of the strategy for ApplyBoards key customer segments - Students and Partners - across all markets and all channels.

What you’ll be doing every day:


  • Developing Acquisition Strategy: Create and execute strategies to acquire new customers through digital marketing channels (SEM, Paid Social, Affiliate, Owned Channels)


  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Identify areas for improvement and optimize conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on investment (ROI).


  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilizing data analytics tools to track key performance metrics, generate reports, prioritize experiments and provide insights on the effectiveness of campaigns.


  • Agile Campaign Planning and Execution: Planning, launching, and managing multi-channel campaigns, including hypothesis led experimentation roadmap, learning agenda and agile workflow.


  • Partnerships and Affiliates: Identifying and nurturing partnerships with other companies, influencers, or affiliates to expand the reach and effectiveness of acquisition efforts.


  • Budget Management: Managing the acquisition marketing budget effectively, allocating resources across different channels based on performance and strategic priorities.


  • Innovation: Continuously exploring and testing new acquisition tools, channels, tactics, and technologies to identify opportunities for growth.


  • Drive agency partnerships:Work closely with vendors, agency partners, and platform representatives to develop and nurture effective relationships and outcomes.




What you bring to the table:


  • A passion for EdTech


  • 7+ years of growth acquisition experience, working for a high growth startup or two sided tech business (B2B + B2C) experience a bonus


  • Experience managing small agile growth team with proven track record of results


  • Experience using digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google and Meta Ads) and running efficient campaigns with multi-million dollar budgets


  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager


  • Strong experience creating concise, clear briefs for creative & media agency and internal partners


  • Entrepreneurial style with high agility, initiative and creativity


  • Deep understanding of new and emerging acquisition tech tools & platforms
