Airbus is looking for a Sr. Group Manager in IM to join the Bangalore, India location.
Sr Group Manager - Employee Digital Services is part of the Information Management (IM)
domain, which is located within the Airbus IM Global In-house Centre (GIC).We are a customer
oriented driving force in Enterprise Architecture, IT simplification, Operational Excellence,
Sustainability, Security and Compliance.
Employee Digital Services is responsible for developing and managing state of the art HR digital
applications used by Employees, Managers and HR population.
Responsibilities:
● Accountable for the End to End Product/Application or Service lifecycle from conception,
design, industrialization, operation to retirement including management of
dependencies.
● Responsible for Multi Functional Teams formation in order to manage the IT
Product/Application or Service lifecycle.
● Responsible for HR Data reporting, Analytics, Exposure, Distribution etc.,
● Identify opportunities and create a product or a Service that satisfies the client/end user
including Time, Quality and Cost of the Product.
● Leads the IT Product/Application or Service MFT team in order to manage the IT
Product/Application or Service lifecycle, both developing the products/services and
operating them to meet operational SLA's.
● Responsible for Continuous Release Management.
● Ensures the participation of an End User Advocate with understanding of users and use,
and ensures solutions that best serves both.


● Ensures that the known Product/Application or Service vision is translated into a
prioritized backlog in alignment with the business product owner.
● Defines chargeback models for their respective IT Products/Applications or Services.
● Defines and go-to-market of the product and service (line).
● Accountable for all HRIS deliveries from Airbus India.
● Accountable for Managing and Mentoring team members
● Responsible for Operational Performance, cross Regions efficiency & Delivery
● Accountable for operational Excellence, and other compliances such as Security, Export
Control etc.,


Qualification & Experience:
● Engineering graduate with 18+ years of experience in IT Development, Product/Project
management experience
● Expert level In:
○ Product Software development
○ Building prototypes quickly and ability to scale to minimum viable product
○ Proven skills in build-in-quality
○ Delivery management
○ People management and people development skills
○ Leadership skills
○ Stakeholder management
● Knowledge and working experience in Workday or any relevant SaaS HR application is
Mandatory.
● Working experience in Agile/Kanban/SAFe way of working
● Knowledge of applications development in (multi) SaaS and/or on-Prem based
applications, development and deployments
● Adaptable to changing dynamics
● Professional networking skills
● Solution oriented mindset
● Budget and cost management

● Bring innovative cost effective solutions
● Achieve the customer satisfaction
