Senior Engineer, IAM Identity Governance - Chennai/Pune

NielsenIQ is seeking a skilled and driven Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to help mature our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program, which focuses on Identity Governance and Access Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IAM, Identity Governance (IdG), and Privilege Access Management (PAM) concepts and solutions, with strong cross-platform integration experience. This role will have Sailpoint and Azure IAM hands-on engineering and operational responsibilities as well as technical leadership and expert-level troubleshooting duties. We're looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who is eager to contribute to the growth of our global IAM program.
Responsibilities
- Support IAM technology stack including monitoring, hygiene, enhancements development and other activities to ensure that the security systems are operational and effective.
- Design, implement, and support application integrations to Azure for various business functions
- Configure Okta and Azure to provide enterprise Single Sign-On services and enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) platform features for internal and external applications
- Assisting clients with Azure B2B, B2C including SAML, OAUTH, OpenID Connect protocols
- Proactively identify gaps and develops solutions to routine problems.
- Plan and implement updates, maintain, monitor, and support enterprise IAM Tools
- Understands the key business and security drivers as they relate to the projects.
- Support development of strategy, vision and roadmap implementation of authentication, authorization, and identity governance controls.
- Obtain an in-depth understanding of IAM enterprise technologies
- Participate in ongoing technology evaluations and keep up with technology trends and industry standards
- Communication with customers to clarify requests, to report status, or to provide information as needed.
- Drive continual improvement processes to enhance the end-user experience, increase technology value, and improve security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Cybersecurity or Computer Information Systems or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of technology experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting and developing SailPoint and Identity Lifecycle processes.
- Microsoft MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, B2B and B2C and on-premise Active Directory
- Authentication/authorization, SSO (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 + OpenID Connect) and LDAP experience
- Understanding of Single Sign-On services and Multi-Factor Authentication mechanisms across both mobile and desktop platforms (TOTP, SMS, FIDO, U2F, WebAuthn, EMAIL, Push MFA, etc.)
- Broad understanding of the IAM cybersecurity landscape, including identity stores, authentication / authorization, strong authentication, & privileged access management capabilities and methodologies
- Working knowledge of coding with PowerShell, Python or other scripting languages
- Understanding of Azure IAM
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in the fast-paced environment and have ability to work on multiple requests simultaneously and balance conflicting demands
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to communicate technical details in a clear, concise, understandable manner
- Effective multi-tasking skills and customer-focused approach
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Security services (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Identity, Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics, Azure Security Center, Azure Log Analytics)
