You’ll make an impact by:

• Oil & Gas Projects.
• Failsafe systems (Emergency Shutdown Systems / Fire Gas System).
• TUV certified fail safe engineers.
• Migration projects.
• Power Management Systems/ Substation Automation projects.
• Hardware engineering for automation projects.
• Service / Maintenance support.
• You deal comprehensively with the automated systems on offshore platforms to implement interfaces and complete solutions.
• Hand-on experience with PCS7, WinCC and Step 7, TIA portal.
• Has performed Automation node / HMI programming for at least one Oil & Gas / Marine / relevantautomation projects using the above tools.
• Preparation of I/O list / configuration tables / Third party interfaces.
• System Hardware designing / Preparation of Bill of Material / Cabinet design.
• Preparation of Hardware FDS and related documentation.
• Experience with Nordic SOGO library would be added advantage.
• Coordinate with Factory / System house / Vendor for Automation Cabinet Manufacturing & Staging.
• Travelling to siemens/customer for longer durations (around 2-3 months) would be part of this role (Domestic as well as International).

You’ll win us over by:

• You are a graduate in Instrumentation, Electrical or Automation Engineering with consistent track record and experience of 6 to 8 years in Automation Engineering.
• Knowledge of C++, C#, VB Scripting, Database Management would be added advantage.
• Good communication skills, fluency in English. (Written and oral).
• Good Team Player & can communicate with Siemens Nordic regional offices.
