About the Role:
Reporting to the Head, Regional Marketing, E&I, Asia South, you are responsible to provide technical support to customers (cable manufacturer) in areas of troubleshooting, quality complaints response and resolutions, new products trials, provide technical documentations and addressing general technical queries. Proposing and in some cases overseeing Application Development Projects (jointly with customers or internal) with the objective of identifying potential new business opportunities to expand Borouge’s offerings. To play a supporting role in identifying new customer needs as inputs to new product innovation ideas that contribute towards achieving step change innovations that drive the E&I strategy. From a technical perspective, influence local national standards and end-user specifications to extend as being member of technical committee. Promote E&I solutions with technical presentations to various value chain members – customers, specifier and end-users. Coordinate update of product certifications/audits per local specifications requirements, by collaborating with internal departments and external institutes.
