Sr. DevOps Virtualization Engineer

This is what you will do as Sr. DevOps Virtualization engineer:

In collaboration with the rest of the R&D IT team:

• Cloud and datacenter (on premise) virtualization:
  • Design, deploy, and manage virtualization solutions in AWS Cloud, utilizing services like EC2, VPC, and Lambda.
  • Oversee the configuration and administration of VMware vSphere infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Infrastructure Optimization:
  • Design and manage automated VMware vSphere infrastructures.
  • Implement best practices for resource utilization and performance tuning in both AWS and datacenter container & virtualization environments.
  • Collaborate with other teams to assess and recommend improvements for overall infrastructure efficiency.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce security measures for virtualized environments, aligning with industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Automation and Scripting:
  • Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline virtualization tasks and workflows.
  • Champion automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for virtualization related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Provide expert-level support for incidents and work closely with technical support teams.
  • Design, Develop and Maintain the Citrix App layer, ensuring optimal performance and seamless user experience.
