Sr. Engineer
What you will do
As a member of the Johnson Controls Aftermarket parts division, this person will be part of an engineering team that develops data migration tools for Extracting/Transforming/Loading data from various source Legacy ERP systems and migrate to Product Management Tools. Responsible for organizing Bill of Materials data under various Business line of Products.
Customization i.e Knowledge on executing Jobs by data loader utilities, API’s, and execute data migration activity from Data Lake to Product Management system and target applications.
The person will understand Stakeholders requirement and follow the task independently.
How you will do it
- Responsible to create ETL jobs , Scripts for data extraction from Various Legacy ERPs.
- Knowledge of Bill of Material and Service Parts Management.
- Manage the data in Product Data Management system by creating Bill of materials (BOM’s), Parts list, Service Life Cycle.
- Create data loader utilities for migration of legacy data to BOM structure.
- By Accessing SAP/IBM systems fetch the data for various requirement.
- Sound understanding of Service Life Cycle Management on Applied Parts (After Market)
- Hands on experience on ERP Cloud Platforms and Databases (SQL, Oracle)
- Strong work management and impactful communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Experience of working with globally distributed teams
- Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
What we look for
Required
- Data Migration and Database knowledge are the primary skill sets.
- ERP Systems (SAP and IBM)
- Strong understanding of the Chiller and Industrial Refrigeration products
- Product Data Management and Organizing Service Bill of Materials
- Service Parts information and Service Life Cycle Management.
- Ability to work with distributed teams and multiple projects.
- Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work on Cloud Environments (Azure, AWS)
- Manage, Organize & Deliver Product Data from various ERP systems
- Ability to handle Large sets of Structural Engineering Data Migration as per Application requirements
- Ability to Manage Data Backup/Reconstruct
- Perform Verification & Validation on Data Requirements
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
- Extended hours support
- Managing SQL reports and Metrics
