MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performsallproceduresnecessarytoensurethesafetyofinformationsystemsassetsandtoprotectsystemsfromintentionalorinadvertentaccessordestruction.

  
  

• Ensuresthatusercommunityunderstandsandadherestonecessaryprocedurestomaintainsecurity.

  
  

• Mayrequirefamiliaritywithdomainstructures,userauthentication,anddigitalsignatures.

  
  

• Conductsaccurateevaluationofthelevelofsecurityrequired.

  
  

• Requiresanunderstandingoffirewalltheoryandconfiguration.

  
  

• Hasin-depthknowledgeofintrusiondetectionandInternetarchitecture.

  
  

• Mustbeabletoweighbusinessneedsagainstsecurityconcernsandarticulateissuestomanagement.

  
  

• Maycoachorprovideguidancetolower-levelsecurityprofessionals.
