Sr Associate Java & DB2 Developer

DB2/Postgres/Java

We are looking for backend engineers with DB2/Postgres/Java experience .

We are looking for talented Backend Engineers to help build and maintain our backend systems. They will work with databases, APIs, and microservices to support our applications and ensure they are efficient and scalable. (Prior Amex experience is preferred. )

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services that power our applications.
• Work with DB2, Postgres, Redis databases to manage and organize data.
• Write and fine-tune SQL queries for optimal performance.
• Build, maintain, and improve APIs to support seamless and secure communication between systems.
• Leverage microservices architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 
Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise scale applications
• Strong experience with Java. (jdk 11+ is preferred)
• Hands-on experience with DB2 or Postgres databases.
• Solid understanding of SQL and query optimization.
