In this vital role you will be responsible for designing and implementing information system architectures to support business needs. You will analyze requirements, develop architectural designs, evaluate technology solutions, and ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards. Your expertise in system architecture, strong problem-solving abilities, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts will enable you to deliver robust and scalable IT solutions.Roles & Responsibilities:Manage Amgen’s single sign-on systems, such as Okta, ForgeRock, and Microsoft Azure. Oversee Amgen’s multifactor authentication services and solutions for the B2B environment that serve external partners.Contribute to enterprise initiatives, such as transitioning on-premises systems to Cloud environments. Develop and deploy single sign-on solutions for both cloud and mobile authentication.Track operational and performance metrics for systems, conduct preventative maintenance, and automate regular processes. Oversee ISM management, which encompasses change control reviews and approvals, root cause analysis assessments and submissions, configuration library oversight, service metric assessment, and report creation.Be accountable and responsible for executing and following through with system owner assigned tasks and compliance related requests.Create and maintain user documentation such as SOPs, design documents, operational drawings, manuals, etc.Enhance information competence at Amgen by answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.Conduct routine hardware and software audits of servers and applications to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelinesWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.Basic Qualifications:Master’s degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience or related field ORBachelor’s degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience or related field ORAssociate’s degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience or related field ORHigh school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems experienceMust-Have Skills:Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to identify and remediate issuesExperience supporting Identity Provisioning and Access platformsSharp learning agility, problem-solving and analytical thinkingWorking knowledge of Web Access Management and SSO technologies (Okta, Azure, Ping Federate, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID/Connect)Experience with multi-factor authentication methods and risk-based authenticationScripting skills such as PowerShell or PythonGood written and verbal communication skillsExperience and background of B2B concepts and architecture, application and reverse proxies, SSO, and multi-factor authenticationGood-to-Have Skills:Experience with IS SecurityExperience with Agile MethodologyProficiency in scripting and automation is a plusFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their IAM services.Knowledge of IGA principles, including role-based access control (RBAC)Knowledge of incident response procedures and the ability to manage security incidents related to identity management.Professional Certifications:Microsoft, GCP or AWS Cloud (preferred)Identity Provisioning or Security Certification (preferred)Microsoft Azure Certification (preferred)Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with global, virtual teamsHigh degree of initiative and self-motivationAbility to manage multiple priorities successfullyTeam oriented, with a focus on achieving team goalsStrong presentation and public speaking skillsWork Hours: This position operates on the second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST. Candidates must be willing and able to work during these hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
